Resident Agent Services in Maryland

Maryland Resident Agent Service

As your Maryland resident agent, we accept service of process for you. Having a reliable resident agent will help ensure that your company is in compliance with the State of Maryland. If your mail from the Maryland SDAT Corporate Charter Division or other Maryland State agencies is being returned, or they are unable to reach you, they will contact your Maryland resident agent.

Secure Online Account

We scan any service of process or other documents we receive on your behalf at our local Maryland office and upload them to your secure online account. You are then sent an email with the item as an attachment or notified that you have a new mail item to view and download from your online account. If you don’t respond to our email, we continue our efforts to contact you until we are sure you have been notified. You can choose to have us send emails to 5 additional email addresses (such as your CPA, attorney or spouse) in the event we do not get a response from you.

Reminders for Your Maryland Annual Report

Maryland Corporations and LLCs have to file annual reports due April 15th. The State will mail you a reminder to file in February, but if you don’t file or are late, you will have to pay a late fee.

Our clients can check the due dates for annual reports in their secure online account. They also receive multiple email reminders from us to file their annual reports on time.

State of Maryland Forms for Immediate Filing

Immediately after you sign up for our resident agent service, you are logged into your online account where you will find all the forms you could possibly want to file with the State of Maryland. Our Maryland resident agent information is pre-filled on the forms. You will find forms for Maryland profit and non-profit corporations, Maryland LLCs, close corporations, foreign entity registration in Maryland, and change of agent forms, are all inside your online account. In addition, you will find filing instructions in the online account to help you make the filing with the Maryland SDAT Corporate Charter Division.
